Host a Party at The Barn on Chapel Road

You are the visionary to this event. You bring what it takes to make this your special occasion. This event option is designed for gatherings of fewer than two hundred guests and may not be reserved more than three months ahead of the event date. Hosts are welcome to personalize their celebration with linens, centerpieces, and decorations chosen from outside vendors or arranged through assistance from the venue coordinator. The Barn on Chapel Road provides a welcoming environment where celebrations can reflect the personal vision of the host while respecting the historic character of the venue. Our goal is to provide a flexible space where guests can gather, celebrate meaningful occasions, and enjoy the peaceful countryside setting surrounding the barn.

On Site Tables, Chairs, and Event Equipment

The Barn on Chapel Road provides a variety of equipment and furnishings available for use during your event. These items allow hosts to design gatherings without needing to source every piece of furniture or décor independently. Available items include round and rectangular tables for dining layouts, farm tables for special displays or head tables, and pub tables for casual gathering spaces. White wooden chairs are also provided to accommodate guests comfortably. Decorative and functional elements such as arches, barrels, and easels may be used to enhance event décor or signage. Outdoor patio furniture is available for guests who wish to enjoy the surrounding countryside views. These resources enable hosts to create a comfortable event environment while simplifying the overall planning process.

Rental Information

Rental Rates and Availability

The Barn on Chapel Road is available for events from April through November, offering flexible rental options for both small gatherings and full-venue celebrations. Guests can choose access to select lower-level spaces with outdoor areas or enjoy the entire venue, including the main reception level, catering room, restrooms, porch seating, and scenic lawn areas. Reservations are secured with a $1,000 deposit at the time of booking. The upper level serves as the primary celebration space and includes additional decorative features to enhance the overall event experience.

Venue Guidelines

Responsibility and Security

Responsibility and Security – It is the client’s responsibility to maintain cleanliness of the venue during the entire rental period. The space should be left in the same order and condition as it was received. All items brought to the venue must be removed at the end of the event. Trash must be enclosed in plastic bags and placed in the dumpster. Tables and chairs must be folded and returned carefully to the storage area. Decorations must be removed from indoor and outdoor spaces. Floors should be cleaned of any messes and trash emptied from all rooms and outside areas. Optional services are available including trash service for $100 and setup or teardown assistance at $1 per chair and $1 per table.

Accessibility and Guest Guidelines

Handicap Accessible — There is a lift for the use of the handicapped only.

Smoke Free — The Barn on Chapel Road is a smoke free venue. The gravel driveway is the designated area for smoking and applies to open flame as well.

Pet Policy — No pets are allowed. This applies during setup, teardown, and all activities.

Children — Children are always welcome when supervised by adults.

Decoration Guidelines

Decoration and Celebration Restrictions

Decorations and Celebrations — Nails, duct tape, scotch tape, and masking tape should not be used without permission from the venue owner. Confetti, rice, glitter, and silly string are not allowed. In accordance with fire safety rules there may be no open flame in or near the barn. Sky lanterns, fireworks, or outside fires are not allowed without permission from the owner. Inside sparklers or cold spark effects are not permitted.

Insurance Requirements

Liability Insurance and Event Responsibility

Clients are required to obtain a one-day event liability insurance policy prior to their event, and proof of coverage must be provided before setup begins. If alcohol will be served, it must be handled by a properly certified server, and liquor liability coverage must also be securedThe Barn on Chapel Road is not responsible for any items lost, stolen, or left behind before, during, or after the event. Clients are fully responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their guests and agree to indemnify and hold the venue harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or legal expenses related to the event.
