You are the visionary to this event. You bring what it takes to make this your special occasion. This is an event with less than 200 people and is not able to be reserved more than 3 months ahead.
You may choose your linens, table centerpieces, decorations, from another vendor or
vendors thru the assistance of the venue coordinator.
The venue has the following on site you are welcome to use:
24 round tables 60 in diameter
16 rectangle tables, 3ft X 8ft
2 – 9 ft farm tables 2 – 7 ft farm tables, sweetheart table-58 in
6 pub tables
250 white wooden chairs
2 bars, 4 barrels, 4 arches, 3 easels, some patio furniture
You will need to bring your own water for drinking, bottled water.
The Barn on Chapel Road LLC is available April through November. A rental of 8 hours would cost $2,200. Otherwise, when renting per hour for a smaller event, the rent is $300 per hour for the whole barn and outside. If you wish to just rent the downstairs and outside, it is $200 per hour. Downstairs would include a catering room and restrooms, as well as the porch outside which has some lawn furniture. Upstairs is the reception area for weddings which would be more decorative. The deposit for these events is payment in full when making the reservation. There will be a maximum damage fee due the week of the event of $1,000 or equal to the rent. If there is no damage and everything is accounted for, the deposit will be returned to you in full. In the unlikely event the client should cancel, all deposits are nonrefundable. The Barn on Chapel Road shall have the right to terminate this contract if the client fails to meet or violates any terms of the contract, in which case the provisions of this cancelation policy also apply. The client shall not assign or sub-lease any terms, conditions or services contained in this contract or any interest therein without the written consent from The Barn on Chapel Rd. LLC
Responsibility and Security – It is the client’s responsibility to maintain cleanliness of
the venue the whole time of the rental. It should be left in the same order and condition it was received. You or the caterer must get rid of everything brought, enclose trash in plastic bags and place in dumpster. The tables and chairs are to be folded and placed carefully in storage area, personal decorations inside and outside removed, floors cleaned of messes, and trash in all rooms and outside be emptied in dumpster. If you wish for a service to aid you in this responsibility, you may request it in advance. The staff offers a service at $100 to keep the trashcans empty and tables cleared. The service of $1 per chair and $1 per table to set up or tear down is also available.
Handicap Accessible — There is a lift for the use of the handicapped only.
Smoke Free — The Barn on Chapel Road is a smoke free area venue. The gravel
driveway is the designated area for that privilege where guests are welcome to use.
This applies to open flames as well.
Pet Policy — No pets, please.
This request includes during the setup, tear down, or any activity.
Children — Children are always welcome under the supervision of adults.
Other Details while using the barn-
Decorations/Celebrations — Nails, duct tape, scotch tape masking tape should not be used without permission received by venue owner. No confetti, rice, glitter or silly string is allowed. In accordance with fire safety rules there is no open flame in or close to the barn. No sky lanterns, fireworks or any fire is allowed outside without permission from owner. No inside sparklers/cold sparks.
Liability Insurance — Renters need to secure a one-day event liability insurance with
coverage of $1,000,000.00 covering your party, your people, your event.
If alcohol is part of the menu, it must be served by someone carrying a certificate. You
will also need liquor liability. A copy of these insurances need to be sent to us as
evidence of purchase due before you set up for the event.
The Barn on Chapel Road does not accept any responsibility for damage to or
loss of any articles or property left at the venue prior, during or after the event. The
client agrees to be responsible for any damage done to the venue by the client, his
guests, invitees, employees, or other agents under the client’s control. Further, The
Barn on Chapel Road shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any kind or
character to any person or property caused by or arising from any act of omission of the client, or of any of the above people stated from any accident or causality occasioned by the failure of the client to maintain the premises in a safe condition or arising from any other cause. The client, as a material part of the consideration of this agreement, hereby waives on its behalf all claims and demands against The Barn on Chapel Road for any such loss, damage, or injury of the client, and hereby agrees to indemnify and hold The Barn on Chapel Road free and harmless from all liability for any such loss, damage or injury to other persons, and from all costs and expenses arising there from, including but not limited to attorney fees.
